Historically, San Francisco Bath House has had a reputation for being a rock venue but in recent years it has become home to a wider spectrum of live entertainment. Wednesday through Saturday nights feature an eclectic mix of REAL local, national and international acts cutting across many genres, subgenres, scenes and micro-scenes.
Some of the highlights in the past few years (in no particular order): Raekwon, Talib Kweli DJ Premier, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Shihad, Bernard Fanning, The Misfits, Fat Freddy's Drop, Dresden Dolls, Cornerstone Roots, Kora, Ratatat, The Living End, Guitar Wolf, The Mint Chicks, Evermore, Pluto, Chicks on Speed, O.E Brazil, Open Souls, The Feelers, Katchafire, CSS, M. Ward, Handsome Family, Calexico, Gomez, The Phoenix Foundation, Liam Finn, The Upbeats, Tiki, The Veils, The Gossip, The Black Lips, Sneaky Sound System, Iron and Wine, Beirut, Broken Social Scene, Ween and Animal Collective to name only a fraction of the acts who have graced the venue.
While it's undeniably the music that's at the heart of the San Francisco Bath House, the drinks and service also gain us an international reputation.. There is a selection of New Zealand beers on tap and in the bottle and we also offer some tasty foreign beer alternatives. Come and experience San Francisco Bath House for yourself.
