First Public Wellington Performance of Award Winning Game Soundtrack

Wellington based Electronic Musician/Producer Module AKA Jeramiah Ross will perform his critically acclaimed soundtrack from the award winning video game Shatter at the San Francisco Bathhouse on September 20th. This will be the first public Wellington performance of the music created for local game development studio, Sidhe.

The 70+ minute Shatter Soundtrack is widely acknowledged to be one of the great videogame soundtracks of the last console generation, if not, all time. With millions of online streams, and over 30,000 copies sold, the soundtrack has been released on CD and limited edition Vinyl, picking up industry awards along the way. GiantBomb declared it Best Original Soundtrack beating out competition from industry titans like Halo and Electronic Arts. “Creating music from scratch that matches the rest of your game is tough, and creating game music that's listenable without the context is even tougher. Managing to do both, well, that deserves some kind of award – GiantBomb”.

Module’s soundtrack is a heady mix of French Electro fused with 80’s inspired Dance Music. Expect pounding dance rhythms, blazing solos and over the top keyboard parts. Module’s live performance tells the story of a robot breaking free and escaping an oppressive machine based world. To perform the music live, Module plays a wide range of instruments including computers, synthesizers and electric guitars. The show is set with lasers, lights and high production values that will make for a truly memorable and unique performance.

Module most recently released his latest album, Imagineering album to NZ critical acclaim and will be showcasing remixes and favorites from his previous albums after the Shatter Soundtrack performance to deliver a set in excess of two hours.

He will be joined on the night by Local Producer/DJ Benny Tones who has worked with and produced some of NZ's finest talent along working with Electric Wire Hustle taking the stage for 1 hour at 9.30pm along with Radio Active DJ Jen Kyle covering all bases with her fine selections of electro until close.

This is Module’s first public Wellington performance in over two years and it will be recorded and released as a special filmed recording.

Module will be taking the stage at 10.30pm sharp
