Funkacybin are a high energy, in your face funk/progressive rock band that have been doing their thing in and around the Wellington reigon for the last two years or so. The four members of the band all met while studying at Whitireia school of music, two of which have now completed their degrees. Starting off doing a mixed set of covers and originals, the band has spent the last year perfecting a killer set of original material in between recording and playing shows. At the end of last year however the vocalist decided that it time to move on. But that couldn't stop the funk getting to the people! Funkacybin are back jamming with a new vocalist and with the help of manager Bob McRoberts are set to get Wellingtons booties grooving to some funky fucking shit!
