THE RETURN OF THE FUNKY PONY......

After a hectic summer 09, Tahuna Breaks rode the funky pony into the sunset in early March. It feels like ages since we've been on the road! We're now back and ready to leave the stables with new faces, new tunes and that same 'shake your groove thang-get on the good foot' attitude! TB's are hitting the road this September with an 8 date tour spreading the love evenly across Aotearoa with 4 shows in the south island and 4 shows in the north island!

Tahuna Breaks formed following inspiring jams that stretched from a garage in Onehunga to the remoteness of Piha on Auckland’s west coast.

With influences varying from the likes of Marvin Gaye, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, James Brown, UB40 and New Zealand’s very own dub and reggae movement, Tahuna Breaks are a fine tune roots blend of funk and reggae with that distinctive New Zealand summery sound.
